Armlock Putting

Tom's Notes

Armlock putting is a valid way to putt, and it's very helpful if you have a wrist breakdown problem.

The image above represents the setup with an Odyssey Armlock Putter. Note that there is manufactured forward shaft lean (four degrees), and seven degrees of loft on this putter to compensate for the shaft lean. As a result, the true loft at impact would be the normal three degrees.

A better approach to this method of putting would be a similar length putter without built in forward shaft lean and seven degrees of loft.

Normal shaft angle, normal loft, open stance, ball played well forward, is a better way to putt with an armlock grip method.
